Organizations are becoming incredibly flexible and strive higher and higher to fulfill their potential. However, they still have to face difficulties that fall on the shoulders of employees. This is why Microsoft sees tremendous potential in Dynamics 365 and the Microsoft Power Platform.
Fighting challenges
Recently, there have been many examples of companies with high flexibility and innovative approaches. Some of these examples were showcased at the Microsoft Business Applications Summit as well as the new wave of 2021 features. For highlights from the Summit, see "Enabling innovation everywhere with Microsoft Business Applications".
In order not to be unfounded, we will give an example. The well-known cosmetics company L'Oreal has developed a new solution for installing, updating, troubleshooting and auditing complex equipment. Dynamics 365 Remote Assist and HoloLens 2 have become a lifesaver in limited mobility conditions. This solution allows you to remotely solve emerging problems with an expert in the field and also helps to reduce carbon dioxide emissions.
Another example is Patagonia, which used Dynamics 365 and Microsoft Teams to stay in touch with their customers for a seamless service. Consumer goods company Campari is integrating its fragmented data landscape with Dynamics 365 Customer Insights to maintain a seamless, fast customer journey.
In addition, the Microsoft Power Platform is seeing impressive results, with Walgreens Boots Alliance reducing in-store check times by 75% as a result of empowering employees with Microsoft Teams and the Asset Protection mobile app built with Power Apps. The company claims that thanks to Microsoft tools, they were able to reduce the time to market for a new application by more than 50%.
