In modern realities, more and more employees are working remotely. It is very important to set up communication processes with employees who are out of the office. Organizations use Microsoft Teams not only to collaborate, but also to improve productivity in the workplace.
Microsoft is announcing a publicly available Dynamics 365 Human Resources app for Microsoft Teams. In this application, employees can submit vacation requests and view the remaining free days. Also, in the application, you can notify colleagues about your upcoming vacation. This application is available for all devices.
Sick leave or leave requests can now be made just as easy. This happens through a conversation with the bot, which notifies the number of free hours. In addition to talking to the bot, you can use the Time off tab to view requests for an upcoming vacation. Employees can also compose various vacation requests. For example, from different dates or part-time vacation.
Tool for managers
With the Human Resources app, managers can stay up-to-date.
Once a vacation request is sent to a manager, a notification is sent to Teams. The manager can view the details of the vacation. And check the availability of other team members so as not to interrupt the workflow. Using interactive bot messages, managers can approve or deny the request.
The employee receives a notification in Teams. And he finds out whether his vacation request was rejected or accepted. To keep the entire team aware of the upcoming vacation, he can share the data via a Teams message.
