Dynamics 365 Field Service (on-premises) – what is it?

Dynamics 365 Field Service (on-premises) gives organizations the ability to install and run Field Service version 7 and applications located on-premises rather than in the cloud. After June 30, 2022, local implementations will not be supported.

Why is this important?

It's simple, if your organization is currently using Dynamics 365 Field Service (on-premises), then you need to upgrade to the Dynamics 365 Field Service version.

Will it affect mobile apps working with Dynamics 365 Field Service (on-premises)?

What if I have Dynamics 365 Field Service (on-premises) license?

By purchasing a Dynamics 365 Field Service (on-premises) license, you are granted a dual-use license in accordance with the Dynamics 365 on-premises guidelines. Companies currently using Field Service (on-premises) licenses can use those same licenses on the Internet.
