In early July 2021, Microsoft posted information about its plans to release wave 2 for Microsoft Dynamics 365. The release of updates and improvements is planned from October 2021 to March 2022.

Key updates:

  • Dynamics 365 Marketing

The role is to improve the customer experience at different stages from start to finish by personalizing the approach to each. With this tool, marketers are able to create segments for potential customers. You can quickly and easily create target audience segments. It is also possible to create email content using the GPT-3 AI. Once created, you can optimize your content using AB testing tools.

  • Dynamics 365 Finance

The public version of Finance Insights will kick off. The goal is to focus on insights that will help empower clients with new machine learning-driven financial transactions. With the goal of completing financial operations on time, Microsoft provides the opportunity to increase productivity when absolutely necessary. More specifically, we are talking about fixed assets, year-end closing and financial indicators. In addition, the company is working to expand its globalization offering with additional localizations and the general availability of our tax calculation service.

  • Dynamics 365 Customer Service

Works to improve knowledge based on keywords that AI suggests. A dedicated intelligent routing service is working on assigning service requests based on AI models and rules. The company is also investing in routing diagnostics for executives, more accurate AI classification. This includes analyzing sentiment, evaluating experience, effort, and improving analytics.

  • Dynamics 365 Field Service

Continues development towards improved customer interaction. For this, a new portal was created for clients, where they can find suitable specialists and schedule meetings. The new ordering form is expected to increase user productivity.

  • Dynamics 365 Sales

The update is to launch the public Deal Manager, which is a workspace for managing your pipeline. It also improves the integration of Dynamics 365 Sales and Microsoft Teams. Microsoft is investing in improving sales force productivity. One of the results is LinkedIn integrations for easy access to the Sales Navigator. As well as managing sales improvement through the Sales Accelerator. The new capabilities will also be available in the Dynamics 365 Sales mobile app.

  • Dynamics 365 Project Operations

  • Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management

Investments in the creation of a sustainable supply chain. This is critical for areas such as delivery and warehousing. Microsoft wants to help customers avoid stockouts and ensure business continuity by optimizing existing materials and planning properly. This issue is addressed by the integration between Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management, an optional shop floor optimization system, and overall manufacturing management solutions.

  • Dynamics 365 Human Resources

Work is underway to extend Benefit Management to more easily customize the user interface. Dynamics 365 Human Resources for Microsoft Teams empowers employees in their workflow.   • Dynamics 365 Guides

  • Dynamics 365 Customer Insights

Opportunities for audience analysis and predictive analytics will be available. With the update, it will be possible to predict the likelihood of churn for accounts using the same simple managed experience. Power Query usage and data ingestion improvements will be included. Personalized and complete analytics will become available in Dynamics 365 Customer Insights. The points of interaction with the customer (products, devices, Internet) will be visible. Interaction analysis for multi-channel analytics of data from other channels will be available for more extensive customer analytics, which will optimize further actions.

  • Dynamics 365 Fraud Protection

Several new features are being introduced to enhance the capabilities of payment service providers. So, it will be possible to integrate fraud protection.

  • Dynamics 365 Business Central

It will become easier to administer clients and manage licenses and permissions. In addition, more than 10 new countries and regions will be added with increased integration with Microsoft 365.
